Blogging is dead, long live the blogging

Somewhere along the way, the internet lost its soul.

What used to be a messy, human, decentralized network of personal pages and thoughts has turned into a hyper-optimized feed of algorithm-chosen, aesthetic-first noise. Platforms own your content. Authenticity takes a backseat to engagement. People create personas on third-party platforms, further killing the internet as a free roaming space for people. Never-ending battle for your attention, numbing your right thumb.

Since GeoCities to a time where content wasn't a part of monopoly.

I miss the old internet. it had since long forgotten the excitement of discovering stuff, reading personalized and diverse content and even playing Flash games. The school was a place to share them on a shared PC during the IT class. Where brainrot & dopamine frying habits were unknown to the mankind.

At what moment did the internet shrunk for you to just 5 sites you cycle through regularly ?

This place, is different

A place where I can document, explain, reflect. Where context matters. Where ideas evolve. Where it’s okay to go deep, to ramble. Where no company can dictate on what to show here. Here, context matters — it is not one of social media posts where you forget what you saw after 2 minutes.
